Registration & Fees

At South City Rebels, we are committed to making basketball accessible and inclusive for all families. We work hard to keep our fees affordable while delivering a high-quality program.

To assist families, we offer a range of flexible payment options and custom payment plans.
We add no fees on credit/debit card transactions through our online store.

Additional Costs
Before You Hit the Court
Before taking the court for South City Rebels, all players must be registered with Basketball Queensland (BQ). These fees ensure players are insured and contribute to the delivery and development of community basketball across Queensland. It will depend on when you registered with BQ as to when this fee will be applied.  It is automatic when you complete your registration on Basketball Connect. A membership fee of Eastside Knights is $48 which is also payable via Basketball Connect when you complete your registration on Basketball Connect.

Paid via Basketball Connect

$84 per year for all players
$43 per year for Under 8s & Under 10s

Basketball Australia Player Levy - This development levy supports national player pathways and programs
$5.50 per annum


Registraion Process

All current and invited players will be issued a registration link once season registrations open. It’s important to complete your registration before the deadline, as this allows us to finalise team numbers and ensure a smooth start to the season.

Once the initial registration period closes, we begin contacting players on our waiting list. Please note that places cannot be guaranteed after this time.
